I have 30 years of KS3, GCSE and A level teaching experience in English Language, English Literature, Drama, and Drama and Theatre Studies. I have been an English SATS and GCSE examiner, subject leader of one of the largest Drama departments in the UK, sixth form tutor, and Head of a Performing Arts Faculty.

I hold a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, a PGCE (teaching qualification) in secondary school English and Drama, and a master's degree in Education.

I have raised two children and understand the pressures that parents face when navigating the worlds of teenagers, schools, SEND, UCAS, and subjects with which they are unfamiliar. In addition to delivering tutoring, I am happy to liaise with schools on your behalf, to source and work through past papers, mark schemes and chief examiner reports, and to ensure that the content I deliver prepares your child for the specific examinations that they will sit, and interviews they plan to attend.
